Editing Diary

Me and Oli have finished with the cctv shot, and we think that it looks very successful. In the latest lesson we continued with our titles over the top of the opening two minutes of our film. We concentrated on the credits at the start of the film and we came to the decision that our film title would be called 'Despatched'. We thought this was a good title as the film sees me collecting and dropping off a mysterious package. We found a big and bold font to use for the title which will show up at the end of the first shot, where the camera zooms out to reveal the location. We added in an effect for the title so it doesn't just appear on screen, we made it 'fade in by characters'. This gives the title a good effect and also makes it look more professional, if it just appeared on screen we thought it would look boring. The font colour is black and we decided to use that as we believed it would stand out and grab the audiences attention.
