Media Studies Diary- Lesson Seven.

In today's lesson, me and Oli wanted to concentrate on the editing part of our scene but we came across a problem, we realised that we had made a mistake with the 180 degree rule. We shot one part of the opening scene on the wrong side, so we had to go shoot the start again, this time of the right side. This thankfully didn't take very long, we used the same camera angle but obviously just on the different side. After we had finished that, we went upstairs and uploaded our scene onto the computer so we could start editing it. We experimented quite alot while we were shooting the short scene, so we had to go through it and delete the things that we didn't want. Uploading our short scene took most of the lesson as we had a lot on the camera, so we didn't properly start editing it, but next lesson we will crack on with it, we have a few ideas with what we want to do, we are happy with the camera angles, but we will try and fit in some music maybe and we need to make a few of the shots shorter so they fit perfectly into the scene.
